An AFO is not typically known for comfort, but the DOSH brace is different. It is made of lightweight material that is soft on the skin and has a cushioned, yet rigid foot pad to provide the foot and ankle the support and upward lift that is needed from an AFO foot brace.

The DOSH ankle foot drop brace aims to restore a more normal walking pattern by helping to lift the foot and reduce ankle inversion, thereby allowing you to get around more safely and with more confidence, and hopefully reducing your overall effort required to walk.

Easy To Put On

The four strap design easily secures in place. Each foot drop strap has a strong hook and loop fastener (Velcro) attached at each end. The adjustable drop foot brace can be customized to meet your needs. Simply secure the straps higher for more foot lift and lower for less foot lift.

Can Be Worn When Resting

Unlike a heavy AFO boot that can be cumbersone and uncomfortable to wear, the DOSH brace for drop foot is lightweight and soft, and can be comfortably worn for long durations. It is the perfect foot drop brace for sleeping.

Cushioned Rigid Foot Pad

Created to provide both comfort and functionality. The design of the foot pad will help to prevent toes from curling and maintaining foot in dorsiflexion, without compromising comfort.

Open Heel Design

Designed to increased Proprioception and reduce the concern of blisters and sores often associated with hard plastic braces and AFO boots.

Wear with Shoes

Not only can the DOSH brace be worn barefoot but it also makes for the perfect foot drop brace for walking with shoes. It can be worn with or without socks. To more easily slide foot into shoe, try wearing a thin sock over top of brace. If wearing a narrow or tight fitting shoe try removing insole inside of shoe for extra space and comfort.

Lounging Around

For added traction on slippery surfaces, try wearing a grip sock over top of brace for an added layer of safety for those who may need it. The DOSH brace can even be worn as a post stroke leg brace.

Unisex

It can be worn as a foot drop brace for women or men, and is an ideal soft AFO brace for foot drop. Brace is compatible with Mens Shoe Sizes 5-11.5 and Womens Shoe Sizes 6-13.
