The waxes used to thicken and emulsify this product are beneficial as well. behenyl alcohol is a fatty alcohol that is moisturizing. Glycol distearate conditions the skin as well as makes the product more luxurious and easy to apply. Emulsifying wax helps to thicken the cream but is non-comedogenic which means it will not clog pores and cause you to break out. Cetearyl alcohol protects the skin and locks in moisture.
